RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for promoting our Specialty Pharmacy services to Oncologist, Nurses, Social Workers, Office Managers, and Case Managers, as well as growing existing accounts, customer focus, and customer education. Account specialist will be responsible to build relationships with manufacturer reps to increase awareness of CuraScripts brand in the market. An understanding of our Payer/Client contracts will be necessary.
Essential Functions Include:
- Sells, markets, promotes, increases business through product sales to new customers and through additional sales to existing customers. Prospects for new accounts within the specified geographical territory to grow business by achieving assigned goals/quotas. Makes a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day.
- Complete projects as assigned (i.e. business reviews, cold calling, account planning, following directions)
- Attend and participates in sales meetings and seminars
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum high school diploma; Four-year college degree preferred
Prior sales experience preferred
Some college level business or related courses or equivalent experience
Qualified applicants must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of computer programs
Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence
Ability to speak clearly and concisely
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships (i.e. good selling skills and rapport building skills with customers and employees)
Must have the ability to work well the others, as well a being a part of a team atmosphere
