Responsibilities
Northeastern University has an opening for a tenure-track position effective September 2010 at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. Accounting courses are offered at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (MBA, MS/MBA, MSA and MS Tax). The position offers competitive compensation and teaching responsibilities that enable a notable level of high impact research. Summer funding, graduate assistants, and travel support are available. The accounting group provides a supportive environment where collaboration in teaching and research is encouraged. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications.
Qualifications
We seek candidates who have or expect to have a doctorate in accounting or a closely related business field before the start date of September 2010, and who are committed to excellence in teaching and research. Teaching experience in accounting, a strong research program focused on top-tier journals and some business background are preferred.
