RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibilities include managing, motivating, training/developing, and contributing to a high performing Clinical Services team. Identifies process improvement opportunities and leads process improvement initiatives. Develops and ensures execution of work plan initiatives that support department and corporate goals and objectives. Prioritizes and makes workflow decisions for Benefit Analysts to ensure successful delivery of expected services within establish Service Level Agreements (SLA)/Operational Level Agreements (OLA). Conducts performance reviews and provides leadership support.
Additional responsibilities: Manages and develops direct reports skill sets to ensure quality of work. Maintains a high standard of customer service and quality results. Acts as a liaison to other departments within Express Scripts related to formulary management and clinical, trend, and benefit management programs and processes.
Essential Functions Include:
- Contribute to the team by prioritizing workload and producing quality work in order to maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for participating in activities of the team.
- Management of individuals within the department. Mentor team to improve their understanding and skill sets in order to maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Challenge the status quo in order to identify process improvement opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a liaison to Product Management, Clinical Program Management, BACS and other departments as needed.
- Active participation in team activities and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
Current U.S. Pharmacist License
2+ years providing leadership and managing a team (optional)
Problem solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Customer service focus, with ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate Service, Innovation, Diversity, Empowerment, Integrity, Passion and Executive Readiness
Some travel may be required
