Responsibilities
The Finance Group in the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, seeks to hire one tenure-track or tenured faculty at the Assistant or Associate level for the school year beginning in September 2010. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the area of investment finance or corporate finance on the graduate and undergraduate levels. The Group has fourteen full-time, research active faculty. Summer research grants, research assistants, major databases and other sources of research funding are available. New faculty can expect significant support. The candidate must have experience in, or a demonstrated commitment to, working with a diverse staff or student population.
Qualifications
We seek candidates who have or expect to have a doctorate in finance or closely related business field before the start date of September 2010 and who are committed to excellence in teaching and research. Teaching experience in finance and a strong research program focused on top-tier journals are preferred.
