Responsibilities
Clinical Intervention Manager is responsible for overseeing interventions at the Entre Familia Family Residential Treatment Program. The Clinical Intervention Manager will be responsible for ensuring that intervention goals are met in an accurate and timely manner by meeting the participant recruitment goals as outlined in the project plan and that the clinical intervention groups. The Clinical Intervention Manager will be responsible for training and supervision of clinical staff delivering the clinical group interventions, development and revision of intervention curricula and protocols, coordinating agreements and work to be completed by project consultants, engagement of participants in clinical interventions, coordination of all clinical intervention activities, preparation of reports to funding agency, organizing and leading project meetings with clinical staff, attending required project meetings outside of Boston, and overall oversight of daily intervention activities. This position includes oversight of the day-to-day implementation of the enhanced services, serving as the first point for participant recruitment, collection of process data and overseeing the transfer of relevant data to the evaluation Program Manager. Additionally, the Intervention Manager will chair each project's workgroup and will be responsible for scheduling all clinical staff training activities. The Intervention Manager will also be the liaison with the managers of the community programs involved in the studies and will supervise staff involved. The Clinical Intervention Manager will also assist in Institutional Review Board (IRB) research approvals, oversight of contracts/agreements with intervention sites, grant writing and writing of manuscripts as needed.

Qualifications
Master's in substance abuse, mental health, social work, public health, nursing or human services field preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in supervising the provision of clinical services to adults and children in outpatient and residential settings OR a combination of clinical services supervision and research experience in implementing intervention studies is required. Candidate must show ability to formulate, interpret and evaluate theoretical knowledge of chemical dependency and related issues and translate them into practical application in outpatient and milieu treatment settings. Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive continuum of substance abuse services. Demonstrated knowledge of gender and cultural issues pertinent to addiction, treatment, and the recovery process is important. Bilingual-bicultural (Spanish & English) is required. Experience and committed to working on urban health issues and/or with diverse racial and ethnic populations and inequalities in health is important, as well as experience working in both research and community settings and ability to work with staff from both. Experience supervising clinical staff in either clinical or research settings is required.
