ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Fertility Life Lines is a non profit confidential resource for individuals seeking information on the subject of Infertility. This service is sponsored as a part of the alliance between EMD Serono and Freedom Fertility Pharmacy. The program seeks to provide information on facts about infertility and treatment. In addition, it offers compassionate listening support, information on insurance benefits for infertility and access to clinicians experienced in the field of infertility to its members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Educate others on general fertility information
Provide compassionate listening
Provide information about company programs
Ensure that individual goals are met in the areas of quality and safety to our customers
Interface with various departments as needed to coordinate activities and meet schedules
Ensure accuracy of all documents
Enroll all patients in FLL program (includes sharing awareness and benefits of FLL and completion of materials of welcome packet)
Triage all incoming calls, handle where possible (request for marketing materials, referrals to RE or assistance with existing orders) centers, and direct others to appropriate department (nursing, reimbursement, intake of new patient information)
Forward documents to next applicable process
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
Report any nonconformity, errors, omissions, or incidents to the appropriate management personnel immediately
Supports balance of call center staff by retrieving faxes, copying information, filling and retrieving data and responding to other needs as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated accuracy and completeness in capturing and documenting all appropriate patient demographic information
Proficient problem analysis skills with good judgment and decision making
Ability to manage large case loads and upsurges in production without loss of focus and with a high degree of accuracy
Documented ability to complete daily work assignments and stay on schedule with all duties and responsibilities
Excellent computer skills
Ability to multi-task within an Inbound and Outbound call center environment
Call center experience requested
Healthcare, insurance or pharmacy experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
