Regional Manager II

This dynamic sales and business leader is accountable for the growth and financial success of the region, developing it in a way that supports the firm's strategic plan.
Primary focus areas for this key leadership position include: Regional Financial Leadership: Manages financial aspects of operation against region's business plan and understands the effect decisions have on financial performance. Develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and expenses ensuring conformity to plan. Regularly reviews activities, costs, and forecasts to determine division/region progress toward objectives. Ensures that Division and Project Managers review the work being done for clients to ensure timely and accurate billing and collection. Holds staff accountable for minimizing work-in-progress and collection of overdue accounts. Project Leadership: Conducts monthly project reviews ensuring all projects adhere to firm's standards for project management, meet customer expectations for quality and timely delivery, and maintain profitability targets. Ensures that all regional operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations. Business Development/Client Management: Analyzes economic conditions and business trends in market area and develops and implements strategies needed to achieve short and long-term sales and margin goals. Proactively manages relationships with clients and monitors client satisfaction using multiple channels. Develops and leads staff to meet business objectives: Provides leadership and support for employees' development. Facilitates regular Division and Project Manager meetings to share technical, project, business performance and client management experience.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, planning, science, or related field and fifteen years of relevant experience, five of which must be in a senior management role. Business management/leadership education desirable. The ability to quickly develop working knowledge of project financial management software (BST preferred) and understand the interdependence between key performance indicators. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Strong ability to organize and prioritize own tasks and the tasks of others. The ability to convey information clearly and effectively through verbal and written communications and review and edit written work constructively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Professional Registration/Certification.
