RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing and documenting process and procedures for client pricing to include coordination/submission of new pricing setups and pricing change requests and, quality assurance review after CBA set-up is complete to ensure accuracy. Support Sales and Account Management projects as assigned. Responsible for project requirements for system enhancements (including, but not limited to Houston and ANCHOR ) and other pricing and margin management initiatives requiring changes to existing business processes and practices. Conduct root cause analysis for 5 Pts., and Client credit requests related to pricing setup errors. Partner with operations and S&AM to develop resolution to pricing issues. Develop and deliver pricing training as necessary. Adopt leadership role in specifying pricing requirements, ensuring that processes are documented delivered and adopted by account management.
Essential Functions Include:
- Manage pricing set up process across clients. Document process and procedures including business process and high-level system logic for pricing to ensure understanding/accuracy. Develop and document business process for pricing set up (new group or renewals) pipeline, review contract to understand pricing, schedule review meeting and work with AD to ensure pricing input is timely and accurate. Build client access database with flags for scheduled/forecasted updates (i.e. Dug files) to ensure timeliness of changes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of pricing related errors. Drive resolution.
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Project manage pricing projects
- Support Senior Director, Contract Compliance and Strategy in adhoc projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree required - Business, Finance, or related field. Masters Degree desired
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, in finance and business analysis with 2 to 3 years experience developing decision support tools, models, and reports
PBM or Pharmaceutical experience related to pricing, rebates, contracting, and procurement preferred but not required
Excellent PC skills including experience within a Microsoft Office environment using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, VBA and SQL Server
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
Strong Project Management skills
Demonstrated abilities in analytical thinking, quantitative analysis, writing, and team work
High aptitude for problem solving, strategic and analytical thinking
Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
